Vanilla Cupcakes

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups cake flour
  • 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 stick of butter softened
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup yogurt
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 F. Fill 2 cupcake pans with liners
  2. In a medium bowl whisk flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
  3. With a hand or stand mixer, beat butter on high until smooth and creamy for 1 minute.
  4. Add sugar and beat on high for 2 minutes. Then, add the egg and beat on high for 2 minutes. Beat in yogurt and vanilla
  5. Add in sifted dry ingredients on low speed. Add in the milk. Make sure to not over mix!
  6. Fill cupcake pans with the batter and bake for 17-19 min
  7. Wait until it is completely cooled and pipe the frosting of your choice!
  8. Eat all of the cupcakes in one sitting.
